About Me:
JOHN L.PICTON Prudential Commercial Real Estate Mr. Picton has 29 years of commercial real estate experience. He has been actively involved in the sale and leasing of commercial, industrial, and investment properties since 1982. He is licensed in the State of Ohio. Mr. Picton is active with the Cincinnati Board of Realtors. He has served on numerous committees, including the Commercial Industrial Committee, Professional Standards Committee, and Arbitration and Realtors PAC Committee. He has also chaired the Commercial Education Committee and is still a member of that committee. Mr. Picton has completed three of the five required courses towards the Professional Designation of CCIM. (Certified Commercial Investment Member). Mr. Picton has had experience in management and leadership. After graduating from the University of the South in Sewanee Tennessee, he entered the U.S. Air Force and became an officer and a pilot. As a pilot of C-47 and co-pilot of B-52 aircraft, Mr. Picton flew combat missions over a 3 year period in Vietnam. He was honored with numerous air medals and the Distinguished Flying Cross. After his discharge he spent several years in the heavy road construction business and six years in sales management at a local Ford Dealership. Mr. Picton has served on numerous charitable boards including Cerebral Palsy Services Center and Saint Thomas Housing Corporation. He volunteers with Winners Walk Tall (a program teaching ethics and manners to elementary students) and Habitat for Humanity.
